UASHMAMA designs are made out of washable, eco-friendly paper products. Their process starts with buying raw materials from trees that are cut in a sustainable and controlled manner. They create their own "fabric" by adding natural vegetable waxes and reducing the chemical substances inside the raw material. They strive to reduce their environmental impact throughout every stage of production. They keep their manufacturing and production local, employing local craftsmen and artisans from the surrounding Tuscan area.
