These ceramic koi designed by Maine artist Tyson M. Weiss have the versatility to look as exceptional displayed across your mantel as they do schooling along your perennial beds. With tails formed to the left and to the right, these fish curve in response to landscape and architectural elements, contributing line, color and momentum. Interesting and colorful glazes add life and visual interest to every garden space or living room in any season.
Like the real thing, they look delicate but are made of sturdy stoneware clay that has been fired to 2,200-degrees Fahrenheit. This strengthening process enables them to stand up to the fiercest winter and summer temperatures, while adding bright splashes of color to all types of landscapes. These fish can stay outdoors all year long and will not fade in the sunlight. Comes with 16" garden rod for garden installation.
Each fish is roughly 10" L 4.25" H 3" W when measured along the center line, with some variation due to its handmade nature.
Handmade in Maine, USA
Every fish is one-of-a-kind and no two are identical.
