This wall clock is inspired by The Disintegration of the Persistence of Memory (1954), which is in the collection of The Dalí Museum, St. Petersburg, Florida. In spite of this painting's bleak implications, Dalí has painted this disintegration as moving in a harmonious pattern, indicating that there is still an underlying order in nature.
