The Dalí Wall Clock, featuring the iconic Salvador Dalí melting clock design, is made of durable acrylic and utilizes a precise sweep hand movement for accurate timekeeping. A must-have for art lovers and a unique addition to any room.
This wall clock is inspired by The Disintegration of the Persistence of Memory (1954), which is in the collection of The Dalí Museum, St. Petersburg, Florida. In this work, Dalí reinterprets his popular painting in order to acknowledge the development of modern physics, specifically Einstein's theory of relativity and Heisenberg's quantum theory. In spite of this painting's bleak implications, Dalí has painted this disintegration as moving in a harmonious pattern, indicating that there is still an underlying order in nature.
