Petunia Post Earrings

$ 65.00

In addition to their vibrant color, petunias are known for their distinct trumpet shape, which lends perfectly to pollination by insects and, of course, hummingbirds. Native to South America, this striking flower is technically related to potatoes and tomatoes, as they are all part of Solanacae, the nightshade family of plants. While there are many beloved varieties of petunias, the Grandiflora is known for growing the largest flowers, which can reach up to five inches in diameter.

Crafted from noble metals, Michael Michaud Jewelry is handcrafted in the United States and cast directly from botanical elements so that every natural detail is preserved. Each bloom is individually hand-crafted in glass by the artist’s son, Michael Vincent Michaud, and finished with sparkling crystal centers that add light and dimension. The result is a lifelike floral composition that highlights the signature collaboration between detailed metalwork and glass artistry.

Materials: Cast bronze with a hand patina finish; accented with cast glass and 24k gold finish.
